JD Wilbur Soot was a new student at the school, having just transferred from a different district. He was immediately drawn to the popular clique, the Heathers, and was determined to become one of them. He had heard rumors about their lunchtime polls and was eager to participate. As he sat at the table with the other Heathers, he couldn't help but notice the boy at the back of the cafeteria who kept looking at him. Curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to investigate.
